Whoever invented corn bread is a total genius i tell you. Yesterday, I was searching for something new and totally different in taste from the various breads when I stumbled on this recipe. It could be quite difficult deciding what to have for breakfast so this definitely came in handy. Corn bread is a type of bread made with cornmeal and a mixture of other ingredients. Unlike the normal bread you're used to, it's a little bit more like crumbly cake. The taste is simply out of this world and the aroma it leaves the house with is better experienced than explained.

ReplyDeleteHi Destiny, You can get corn meal by grinding dry yellow/white corn till smooth but it won't be as fine as wheat flour (The type used for baking bread also known as "all purpose flour")

ReplyDeleteHi jenny, To get corn meal, simply grind dry corn till fine. The powdered milk to water ratio to use is:1/3 cup dry instant cow's milk powder per 1 cup of water. Yes you can use margarine in place of butter but the taste would be totally different.
