In Most African homes, palm oil is one major cooking ingredient that is hard to miss. It's used in just about everything; In soups, In stews or even taken raw with a little bit of salt sprinkled over it. Recently, I decided to my my favorite lazy palm oil sauce which i paired with cocoyam and fried fish.
Now to go a little bit further with the local vibe, other ingredients such as ogiri, pepper and onions were also added. Take it from me when i say, this local sauce is absolutely delicious! It was served with boiled cocoyam but you could serve with boiled or roasted yam or plantain.
